Salopek & Associates Ltd.

Many of us understand Financial Audits, but what about a Human Resource Audit? What is it and why is it important? Employment and Occupational Health and Safety Legislation changed significantly in 2018 - particularly in Alberta and Ontario. These changes would have impacted how you pay your employees; the leaves they are entitled to; their rights and entitlements; and the degree to which you need to train your managers relative to respectful workplaces. Lots of changes! Most organizations when asked if they are compliant with the new legislation will respond....I think we are pretty good! Are you? What is the risk if you are not? There are financial consequences as well as negative impacts to your brand as complaints become public. Furthermore, no one wants an investigation - it ties up your people and is very hard on your team!

We recommend being proactive - don't wonder whether your organization is complaint. Request an audit and put a plan in place to close any gaps that might be identified in the process. It's a great way to start 2019 -
The investment is not significant - an audit generally takes half a day and you are provided with a report and action plan which is your road map to make any necessary changes. Salopek & Associates has a process that we believe adds value and is cost effective. Contact us today and let us walk you through what's involved!
